attraction: The most basic part of any relationship is the fact that there is some sort of mutual attraction (physical, mental, cash etc)

communication: Boredom in relationships happen because you can't carry on a convo that is interesting ( this happens to most guys after sex grin )

interests: if you dont have similar interests or if you are not willing to embrace your GF/BF interests then the relationship is doomed

Jon Jones, Cub Swanson and Vinny Magalhaes: UFC 152?s Three Stars

After waiting way too long for fights, UFC 152 delivered with mostly exciting bouts. There's no need to discuss Matt Hamill's bout with Roger Hollett. Instead, let's talk about the fighters who truly stood out on Saturday night in Toronto. Here are Cagewriter's three stars. Tell us yours in the comments, on Facebook or Twitter.

No. 1 star -- Jon Jones: The light heavyweight champion has barely faced adversity in fights, but Vitor Belfort gave it to him with an early armbar attempt. Jones got out of the submission, and then beat up Belfort for four rounds until an Americana submission ended the fight in the fourth round.

No. 2 star -- Cub Swanson: His knockout of Charles Oliveira was one of the weirder knockouts in recent memory. Oliveira was hurt by a body shot. Swanson then hit Oliveira with a left in the head, and Oliveira stood there for a second before falling to the ground. Slow motion knockouts are just as effective, and Swanson is now 3-0 in 2012. Every win was by knockout.

No. 3 star -- Vinny Magalhaes: It's been three years since Magalhaes was in the UFC. He reminded fans of his grappling prowess with a perfectly executed armbar of Igor Pokrajac. It was the exact move you would expect out of a jiu-jitsu world champ.

How to use Passbook on your iPhone

Apple iPhone 5

If you didn't stay up until 3 a.m. to pre-order an iPhone 5 last week, you were probably?too late to get one confirmed for shipment by Frida... Read more

13 hrs.

One of the?most useful ? but likely misunderstood ? new features introduced in Apple's iOS 6 software for the iPhone is called Passbook. At first glance, the app might even seem like it doesn't serve a purpose. While it might not exactly be well-explained, it can simplify the process of keeping track of various passes ? such as tickets, coupons, and gift cards ? once you know how it works.

Step 1: Downloading supported apps

In order to do things with Passbook, you need to have apps that work with it installed on your phone. Getting them is easy enough: When you load up the Passbook app for the first time, you'll see a screen describing what it can do, along with a button that, when touched, whisks you away to a special Passbook section of the App Store.

Once there, you'll see a current list of all the Passbook-compatible apps available for download. They include those from United Airlines, American Airlines, Fandango, Target, Walgreens, and more. For the purpose of this article, we've downloaded the latter two.

Step 2: Finding things to add to Passbook

In the case of Walgreens' app (download for iPhone) you can add the chain's rewards card, called Balance Rewards, to your Passbook. This involves scanning your physical card's barcode or entering your info, after which you're able to store a virtual version of the card in Passbook. You also have the option of selecting your nearest store, so that when you're near it your phone will automatically display your card.

Target's app (download for iPhone) gives you to special mobile coupons redeemable at your local store. The latest version of the app lets you add these coupons to Passbook so they can be quickly accessed without having to load the actual Target app.

For other apps, such as Fandango and Major League Baseball (MLB), you can add movie and event tickets to Passbook in a similar fashion, then have them scanned at the theater or sporting venue. Airline passes for United, American Airlines, and Lufthansa will be automatically displayed when you arrive at the airport, and Passbook can even alert you to your gate number and any changes to your flight that might occur.

Step 3: Using Passbook in everyday life

As we mentioned earlier, with location-aware Passbook passes you can have your iPhone alert you when you're near somewhere they can be used. For example, with the Walgreens Balance Rewards card, a notification will appear on the iPhone's lock screen anytime you're near the Walgreens you've designated as your home store. Sliding the notification causes the virtual card to slide onto the screen so that it can be scanned. Pressing the menu button makes it slide back off so you can unlock your phone.

Passes such as the Target mobile coupons aren't location-aware, so you actually need to run the Passbook app and tap on them so they can be scanned. Tickets, boarding passes, and gift cards can be set to automatically alert you when you're near where they can be used. It really just depends on the way the apps that create the passes are designed.

When you're done using a pass, you get to use one of our favorite features ? well, at least the most fun ? of Passbook, the shredder. Tapping the small information icon on a pass will flip it over to reveal settings, such as the ability to turn its location-awareness on and off, or determine whether or not it'll display on your lock screen. If you tap the trash can icon, you'll be asked if you want to delete the pass. Tap yes and an animated shredder will slide up the screen, cutting the pass into strips, removing it from Passbook.

Handy, and sure to get better

Passbook has only been available for a matter of days, but we're already finding it pretty handy. Its usefulness will only improve as more retailers and businesses design their apps to make use of it. Before long, we'll all hopefully have a lot more room in our wallets because of fewer cards and papers we'll need to worry about losing thanks to this handy app.

Ross Taylor backs New Zealand to deliver against Pakistan ? Cricket News Update

While acknowledging that Pakistan are a strong side, New Zealand skipper Ross Taylor has expressed confidence in his team, backing the Black Caps to come good in their upcoming ICC World Twenty20 2012 match against Pakistan, after their comprehensive 59-run victory over Bangladesh.

?Hafeez and Ajmal have got very good records in the last 12-18 months,? Taylor said, explaining that his team would be wary of the Pakistani spinners, despite the pitch at Pallekele not having proven particularly spin-friendly.

?We have had an insight into the wicket and how it has played at different times. And the confidence from the way we played [against Bangladesh], we'll hopefully take into that. We prepared really well for the Bangladesh game and I'm sure we'll do the same against Pakistan.

?Pakistan are a lot more experienced than Bangladesh,? Taylor went on to add. ?They've got world-class players throughout their team. There are some areas we still need to work on from this match and hopefully we can improve on them come next match.?

Following their 0-2 drubbing at the hands of the West Indies during a 2-match series in June/July this year, New Zealand went on to claim a surprise 1-run victory over India before heading into the World T20 in Sri Lanka.

The World T20 warm-up matches, however, did not provide the team any encouragement after the brief highlight against India ? they lost by 56 runs to Australia, before going on to concede a 9-run defeat at the hands of South Africa.

Placed in Group D for the tournament, alongside Bangladesh and Pakistan, the Kiwis played their first match against the Tigers, and despite their recent defeats, managed to come out fighting, going on to claim a 59-run win over Mushfiqur Rahim?s men.

Their victory hinged on a massive knock of 123 off 58 from Brendon McCullum, who displayed no difficulties in playing spin (which had been identified as the main difficulty for the Kiwis prior to the match), casually hitting the Bangladeshi bowlers for 7 massive sixes, and 11 fours.

However, the Black Caps face an entirely different opponent in Pakistan, at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium on September 23, with the Men in Green armed with world-class spinner Saeed Ajmal, and the part-time spin of skipper Mohammad Hafeez.

Though pricey for Texas, Austin a bargain by national standards

AUSTIN -- Austin is a growing city and inevitably there are growing pains.

"It's a lot more expensive and it's a lot more crowded," said Phil Rugeley, who's been living in Austin since the 1970s.

"It used to be cheaper, it's getting more expensive," said Austin resident Courtney Link who said compared to other places she's lived in, Austin ranks among the middle of the road in terms of expenses.

"Rent is up than the way it used to be, but where isn't it like that?" said Ian Tennant, and Austin resident originally from Canada.
?
When it comes to cost of living, Austin is pricey by Texas standards.

According to Sperling's BestPlaces.net, a $50,000 income in Austin compares to about $43,000 in Dallas or Houston, but you'd have to make $20,000 to $50,000 more just to keep up in cities like Seattle, New York or San Francisco.

More and more people moving to Austin has driven the average cost of a home up to $215,000, but within the city itself prices can vary significantly.

"It depends," said Rugeley. "If you're living on South Congress it's a little bit pricey, but that's supply and demand."

"You pick your spots and you're okay," said Tennant. "I don't have to drive that much so I'm not paying for gas, so that's kind of big."

On the upside, Austin benefits from some of the cheapest gas prices in America, according to GasBuddy.com, averaging around $3.65 a gallon compared to well over four dollars on the East and West Coasts.

According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, residential end user electricity prices in Texas are just below the national average.

When it comes to food, Austin has long enjoyed its reputation as a hub for local restaurateurs specializing in unique and affordable fare.

"If someone here complains about the price of their food, they need to travel," said Zar Lewellen, a developer from Seattle. "It's just dirt cheap."

Another unconventional economic barometer is the average price of a glass of beer. In Austin, the average pint of domestic beer runs between $3 and $5 dollars, but according to the website PintPrice.com, the same beer in a city like New York could run between $6 and $8 dollars.

"A six-pack of beer down here seems like cheap as get out compared to up there," Tennant said in comparison to his native Canada.

Any visitor can tell you much of Austin's attractiveness has nothing to do with money.

"I always enjoy coming down here because it's fun," said Lewellen. "Good barbecue, good beer, great Mexican food and some incredibly beautiful people."

For many, that in itself is a bargain.
