Q: My contract with my Realtor has expired as of today. I have a new Realtor coming to my house this week. Am I able to take the For Sale sign down myself?

A: You could do so, but please note its not your property to dispose of. When an agent puts in a request for a sign removal its generally takes up to 5 days. If you do take the sign down, place it somewhere that the sign removal company can see it. If the sign is still there after a week, call the broker of the former agent and ask that they have the sign removed asap.
